Creating Spacial Identities
Your local, neighborhood hotel. Cities are full of stories and place-based experiences. This was the key inspiration for our boutique hotel design and the beginnings of our spatial answer to the flooring collection “Gather”. From local artists to repurposed urban structures, we wanted the hotel’s creative clientele to engage with the space in an authentic and meaningful way, whether they were relaxing or getting some work done.

Our design featured patterns that reflected a rich and colorful interior life - just like the clientele themselves. We designed three different rooms - Creator, Editor and Director - in homage to ingenuity.

Traditional storytelling has always been visual and this material palette is no exception. With the pattern as our foundation, we designed a bespoke space that promotes connection, builds community and has a firm sense of place.

Hotels aren’t just for passing through, hotels are to be experienced. We used materials that welcomed guests to linger and made use of beautifully reclaimed urban structures that offered clientele a curated slice of city life.
